چکیده
Separation of water-in-oil emulsion is a significant part the cost oil production due to use expensive demulsifiers and additional heating by burning associated petroleum gas. The article discusses an acoustic method that enables increasing rate separation emulsion. In field conditions, tests were carried out in which efficiency was determined depending on temperature product, concentration demulsifier, frequency time exposure emitter. results obtained allow us talk about reduction consumption demulsifiers, decrease influence phase process increase treatment at existing facilities.

This article is a feasibility study on using fluorescence-based oil-in-water (OiW) monitors for on-line dynamic efficiency measurement of a deoiling hydrocyclone. Dynamic measurements are crucial in the design and validation of dynamic models of the hydrocyclones, and to our knowledge, no dynamic OiW analysis of hydrocyclones has been carried out. Previous studies have extensively studied the s...
متن کاملEnhanced Acoustic Separation of Oil-Water Emulsion in Resonant Cavities
This paper explores the use of acoustics for the recovery of oil in oil-water emulsions. A series of experimental studies were conducted using acoustic standing waves in resonant cavities as means of trapping oil droplets and enhancing oil separation. Several cavity configurations were explored and the frequency range used was between 1 MHz-2 MHz. Oil-water emulsions studied were made using min...
متن کاملThermodynamic Stability of Water-in-oil Emulsions
It is well known that colloids can show phase transitions similar to the ones observed in molecular systems. Colloid-diluted and colloid-concentrated phases can coexist in thermodynamic equilibrium at certain conditions. In a previous work, the authors of this research have used this concept to study petroleum emulsions stability, applying thermodynamic perturbation theories to calculate a phas...
